從圖紙、模型到實(shí)物，通過(guò)材料建構(gòu)和藝術(shù)表達(dá)相互交疊運(yùn)用的建造體驗(yàn)，以激發(fā)園林學(xué)子創(chuàng)作熱情，提高動(dòng)手能力，弘揚(yáng)工匠精神，為風(fēng)景園林行業(yè)培養(yǎng)實(shí)踐創(chuàng)新人才，北京林業(yè)大學(xué)茲定于2018年9月下旬至10月初舉辦首屆“北林國(guó)際花園建造節(jié)”。

本屆花園建造節(jié)的主題為“竹境·花園”，是探討以原竹和花卉為主要材料的花園建造技術(shù)。誠(chéng)摯邀請(qǐng)國(guó)內(nèi)外風(fēng)景園林及相關(guān)專業(yè)的高校師生共同參與到“北林國(guó)際花園建造節(jié)”的設(shè)計(jì)與建造活動(dòng)中來(lái)！

The 1st BFU International Garden-making Festival will be hosted by Beijing Forestry University from the end of September to the beginning of October, 2018. The Festival aims to demonstrate the purpose of inspiring student passion for design, promoting crafter spirits, and cultivating creative talents for the profession of landscape architecture.Through drawings, models and actual works, the festival will provide an experience integrating material construction and artistic expression.

The festival aims to discuss garden-making techniques that use bamboo and herbs as major materials.We sincerely invite educators and students in the field of landscape architecture and other related disciplines from around the world to participate in the design and construction activities of the 1st BFU International Garden-making Festival. 

  花園節(jié)建造節(jié)主題  

  ABOUT THE THEME  

競(jìng)賽主題為“竹境·花園”，以原竹和花卉作為主要材料，設(shè)計(jì)并建造一座小花園。建造內(nèi)容包括一個(gè)以原竹為材料的臨時(shí)性信息亭，以及與之配套的花園空間。

組委會(huì)在北京林業(yè)大學(xué)校園內(nèi)設(shè)置12~15個(gè)地塊作為花園建造基址，除參賽花園外，本次建造節(jié)還將特邀一位國(guó)際知名的建筑師，設(shè)計(jì)一座以園藝為主題，以原竹為材料的臨時(shí)性信息亭，面積100m²左右，將與高校參賽花園同期建成。

With "Bamboo Pavilion · Garden" as its theme, the 1st BFU International Garden-making Festival requires each participant to design and build a small garden by mainly using natural bamboo and herbs.

Besides these gardens for competition, the festival will also invite a world-renowned architect to design a bamboo-made temporary exhibition pavilion, approximately 100m²,which is to be built at the same time with the competition gardens.

  花園節(jié)組織形式   

  ORGANIZATION AND IMPLEMENTATION  

花園節(jié)組織分為4個(gè)階段：

第一階段：方案設(shè)計(jì)征集與邀請(qǐng)、評(píng)選，確定入選名單；

第二階段：入選作品施工圖繪制和可行性對(duì)接；

第三階段：現(xiàn)場(chǎng)建造；

第四階段：評(píng)獎(jiǎng)、建造節(jié)開(kāi)幕式及展覽。

There are four phrases for the competition:

Phase-1: Call for entries. The jury reviews and confirms the winning list.

Phase-2: Construction document preparation and feasibility negotiation.

Phase-3: On-site construction.

Phase-4: Winner announcement; festival opening ceremony and exhibition.

競(jìng)賽征集

本次北林國(guó)際花園建造節(jié)的競(jìng)賽主題為“竹境·花園”，以原竹和花卉作為主要材料，設(shè)計(jì)并建造一座小花園。

花園建造基地均位于北京林業(yè)大學(xué)校園內(nèi)，每塊面積16m²。組委會(huì)將先期對(duì)建造基地做出統(tǒng)一界定，植物材料均為盆栽，不提供露地栽培植物。

建造內(nèi)容包括一個(gè)以原竹為主要材料的景觀構(gòu)筑物，以及與之配套的花園空間。其中，竹構(gòu)占地不超過(guò)8m²，余地留作花園，讓花園與竹構(gòu)有機(jī)融合，交相輝映。

1）竹構(gòu)要求：以原竹為主要材料，以低技術(shù)方式進(jìn)行搭建，占地面積不超過(guò)8m²，限高4m。應(yīng)可進(jìn)入，功能不限，形式隨宜。

2）花園要求：建造材料僅限花卉和地被植物，須在組委會(huì)提供的材料表中選擇，不宜使用其他材料和設(shè)置水面。

The theme of the 1st BFU International Garden-making Festival is “Bamboo Pavilion·Garden” , asking all participants to build a garden with natural bamboo and herbs.

All 12-15 garden plots are located within the campus of BFU, each with an area of 16m². The organizing committee will demarcate these sites ahead of time and provide potted plants, but no open-field plants. It is required to design a bamboo pavilion and a garden space. The area of the pavilion should not exceed 8m².

Requirements for the bamboo pavilion: Please use natural bamboos (Phyllostachy siridescensC.Y.Yaoet S.Y.Chen,2-7cm diameter; Phyllostachy sedulis,7-10cm diameter) as major materials; low-tech construction techniques; no larger than 8m and no higher than 4m; accessible; no specifications for function and form.

Requirements for the garden:Please only use herbs and ground covers on the material list provided by the organizing committee; no other materials and water features.

參賽人員

本次競(jìng)賽面向國(guó)內(nèi)外風(fēng)景園林及相關(guān)專業(yè)的在校本科生及研究生，須以小組形式報(bào)名參加方案征集，小組人數(shù)不得超過(guò)8人。鼓勵(lì)跨專業(yè)合作參賽，每個(gè)小組須確定1~2 名指導(dǎo)教師。每組團(tuán)隊(duì)只能提交一份作品。

The competition invites submissions from teams of students (who could be undergraduate or graduate students). The team should have no more than 8 members.At least one of the team member is enrolled in Landscape Architecture or related programs. We encourage students to team with others who are in different majors. Each team must have one or two tutors and can only submit one work.

本次建造節(jié)分方案征集和特別邀請(qǐng)2種參與方式。

1）方案征集面向國(guó)內(nèi)外風(fēng)景園林及相關(guān)專業(yè)在校學(xué)生，入選名額3~5個(gè)。

2）特別邀請(qǐng)擬特邀7~9所國(guó)內(nèi)外知名高校參與。

There are two ways to participate in the festival competition.

1) Schemes from students in Landscape Architecture and related programs. 3-5 teams will enter in the next stage.

2) 7-9 renowned schools and colleges will be invited to participatein the competition.

2018年3月15日前：參賽報(bào)名

1）競(jìng)賽采取兩種報(bào)名方式：A.在校學(xué)生自由報(bào)名。B.受邀學(xué)校組隊(duì)報(bào)名；

2）關(guān)注“北林園林資訊”“風(fēng)景園林雜志”微信公眾號(hào)，或《風(fēng)景園林》雜志官網(wǎng)（www.lalavision.com），點(diǎn)擊競(jìng)賽通知頁(yè)面“閱讀原文”或       

3）報(bào)名截止日期：2018年3月15日，須確定指導(dǎo)教師及團(tuán)隊(duì)成員名單。報(bào)名后將得到一個(gè)注冊(cè)號(hào)，由組委會(huì)于2018年3月20日23：59（北京時(shí)間）前通過(guò)電子郵件告知參賽者。

Before March 15. 2018: Competition registration

1) Two forms: one is the free registration for full-time students (Type-A), the other is the group registration for the institutions invited (Type-B).

2) Follow on the WeChat official account "北林園林資訊" (BFU Landscape Architecture Information) and "風(fēng)景園林雜志"(Landscape Architecture Journal)，click on “閱讀原文” (Read more) on the competition notice page to register. Or enter the website of Landscape Architecture Journal: www.lalavision.com to apply.

3)  Registration Deadline: Please confirm advisors and team members no later than March 15, 2018. Each team will receive a registraion number before 23:59 (Beijing time) March 20. 2018 by email.

2018年4月15日前：設(shè)計(jì)方案提交

1）方案格式要求。

設(shè)計(jì)方案排布于一張橫向A0圖版上（高841mm，寬1189mm），JPG格式，分辨率300dpi。圖版中應(yīng)包含設(shè)計(jì)圖及設(shè)計(jì)說(shuō)明，文字須為中英雙語(yǔ)。圖版中不得出現(xiàn)任何透露作者、指導(dǎo)教師及學(xué)校信息的內(nèi)容。文件命名方式為“注冊(cè)號(hào).jpg”，如：045.jpg。

2）方案提交截止日期：2018年4月15日

Before April 15, 2018: Scheme submit

1) Submission requirements:

The design project should be presented on an A0 printed panel (841 mm high, 1189 mm wide) in landscape format, saved as JPG witha 300dpi resolution. The panel should include a reflection of the project and associated graphic representations, both in English or bilingual (English and Chinese). No author, advisor and institution information should be mentioned on the panel. The panel must be saved as a JPG and named as "registration number.pdf" ,such as "045.pdf".

2018年5月1日前：方案評(píng)選

競(jìng)賽組委會(huì)組織專家評(píng)審團(tuán)對(duì)A、B兩類參賽方案的設(shè)計(jì)創(chuàng)意及建造可行性進(jìn)行評(píng)審，為A類參賽團(tuán)隊(duì)中的獲獎(jiǎng)方案頒獎(jiǎng)，并從其中確定入選花園建造節(jié)的3~5個(gè)實(shí)施作品。

A類參賽作品獎(jiǎng)項(xiàng)設(shè)置：

入選獎(jiǎng)3~5名，頒發(fā)獎(jiǎng)狀及獎(jiǎng)金，團(tuán)隊(duì)入選花園建造；

優(yōu)秀獎(jiǎng)8~10名，頒發(fā)獎(jiǎng)狀及獎(jiǎng)金。

Before May 1, 2018: Entry Evaluation

The organizing committee will convene a jury to evaluate all competition entries for their design creativity and construction feasibility, giving awards to the Type-A winning entries from which five will be selected for construction during the garden-making festival.

The awards for Type-A entries:

Winning Prize: 3-5 entries; winners will proceed to on-site construction.

Excellence Prize: 8-10 entries; winners will receive certificates.

2018年5月20日前：方案細(xì)化與調(diào)整

在開(kāi)始施工圖設(shè)計(jì)前，組委會(huì)將根據(jù)評(píng)委和竹境竹業(yè)科技有限公司、花材贊助單位的意見(jiàn)，要求入選團(tuán)隊(duì)進(jìn)行基于實(shí)際建造可行性的方案深化調(diào)整。由竹境公司和花材贊助單位向入選團(tuán)隊(duì)提供技術(shù)指導(dǎo)，直至完成施工圖。

Before May 20, 2018: Design development

According to the suggestions of the jury, the “Bamboo Place” Bamboo Technology Co., Ltd. and the herbs suppliers, the organizing committee will require the winning teams to refine their schematic designs based on construction feasibility prior to the construction document preparation. The Anji Zhujing Bamboo Industry Technology Co., Ltd. and the herbs suppliers will provide technical supports to winning teams until the completion of the construction documents.

2018年6月30日前：施工圖提交

1）入選建造節(jié)的3~5個(gè)公開(kāi)征集作品和7~9個(gè)受邀高校作品須繪制施工圖，以PDF格式提交組委會(huì)。施工圖文件為A3文本，包含平立剖施工圖，設(shè)計(jì)及施工說(shuō)明、設(shè)計(jì)尺寸、材料做法、節(jié)點(diǎn)構(gòu)造、細(xì)部大樣、預(yù)制構(gòu)件、施工進(jìn)度等。

2）施工圖提交截止日期：2018年6月30日

Before June 30, 2018: Construction document submission

1) The five winning entries and seven invited universities should complete their construction documents and submit them to the organizing committee in PDF form. Construction documents should be A3 printed documents, including plans, elevations, sections, design and construction descriptions, design sizes, material specifications, construction details, prefabricated units, and schedules.

2018年9月下旬：現(xiàn)場(chǎng)建造

1）12支建造團(tuán)隊(duì)于9月下旬參加在北京林業(yè)大學(xué)舉辦的首屆國(guó)際花園建造節(jié)啟動(dòng)儀式，并開(kāi)始花園建造工作。建造周期為2.5天。

2）建造要求：須滿足相應(yīng)的技術(shù)及安全要求。 

Late September, 2018: On-site construction

1) Twelve teams will attend the opening ceremony of the 1st BFU International Garden-making Festival in laten September and then begin the garden construction work. The construction will take two and a half days.

2) Construction requirements: All relevant technology and safety requirements should be met. 

2018年9月下旬：評(píng)獎(jiǎng)、建造節(jié)開(kāi)幕式與頒獎(jiǎng)

建造節(jié)組委會(huì)于現(xiàn)場(chǎng)建造結(jié)束后組織國(guó)內(nèi)外知名專家進(jìn)行評(píng)獎(jiǎng)。建造節(jié)開(kāi)幕式上將由特邀嘉賓為獲獎(jiǎng)團(tuán)隊(duì)頒發(fā)證書(shū)。

Late September, 2018: Prize award, the opening ceremony of the festival

The organizing committee will convene renowned experts worldwide to make award decisions. In the opening ceremony of the festival , winner teams will be awarded certificates and prize bonus by special guests.

  COMPETITION INFORMATION  

報(bào)名成功后，組委會(huì)將向參賽團(tuán)隊(duì)提供基地現(xiàn)狀圖，周邊環(huán)境照片，可選竹材規(guī)格、植物材料表、地基基礎(chǔ)條件等資料。

After successful registration,the organizing committee will provide participation teams with the site condition maps, photos of the surrounding areas, selectable bamboo sizes, list of plant materials, foundation conditions and other relevant information. 

  參賽規(guī)則  

  COMPETITION RULES  

1）參賽者同意并遵守本競(jìng)賽通知的內(nèi)容及競(jìng)賽規(guī)則；競(jìng)賽組委會(huì)對(duì)競(jìng)賽規(guī)則擁有最終解釋權(quán)。

2）電子圖紙中不得出現(xiàn)任何有關(guān)設(shè)計(jì)者姓名和設(shè)計(jì)機(jī)構(gòu)的文字或圖案，不符合規(guī)定者將被取消參賽資格。
3）參賽者擁有參賽作品的版權(quán)，但競(jìng)賽組織方有權(quán)行使參賽作品署名權(quán)以外的其他版權(quán)權(quán)利，包括但不限于發(fā)行權(quán)，展覽權(quán)，信息網(wǎng)絡(luò)傳播權(quán)，出版權(quán)等。
4）所有參賽者需確保自己所提交的作品為原創(chuàng)且未參加過(guò)其他競(jìng)賽。
5）參賽者不得接受競(jìng)賽評(píng)委任何建議與指導(dǎo)，違反規(guī)定者將被取消參賽資格。

1) Participants agree on and adhere to the content of this notice as well as the competition rules, the competition organizing committee reserves the right of final explanation.

2) Digital drawings should not contain any author and institution names or logos, entries which are not in accordance with the rules will be disqualified。

3) Participants own their works’ copyrights, but the competition organizing committee reserves all the rights other than authorship, including but not limiting to distribution ,exhibition, information network dissemination, publication, etc.

4) All participants should ensure their submissions are original and have not been submitted to other competitions.

5) Participants cannot receive guidance from the competition jury, otherwise he or she will be disqualified.
